Art Madrid will present the work of over 200 artists

The tenth edition of Art Madrid, from February 25 to March 1, 2015 in CentroCentro Cibeles will present the work of more than 200 contemporary artists spread among 44 national and international galleries participating.

 

This year Art Madrid has had a new selection committee formed by Angel Samblancat, Silvia Lindner, Javier Lopez Velez, Tenreiro Ricardo da Cruz and Carlos Delgado Butler. The Committee discussed the proposals of the applicants galleries and prepared the final list of participating galleries among which there are eight new additions.

 

In the General Program, in which 37 participating galleries, Art Madrid'15 will this new edition with the Gallery José Rincón, Madrid. Barcelona is incorporated in this new edition the Artur Ramon Balaguer and Art Gallery. From Vigo comes Montenegro Gallery. Fair also features Blake Gallery Osorio de Oviedo and Patricia Acal, with galleries in Seville and Madrid. These international additions Collage Habana (Cuba), Yiri Arts (Taipei, Taiwan) and NH Gallery (Cartagena de Indias, Colombia) bind.

For ONE PROJECT Program, consisting of eight projects 'solo-show' format Commissioner Carlos Delgado Butler has gathered some creative work under the concept of ARTEFACTO, raised as a clearly constructed device is the result of a reasoned production process, which does not hide its artificiality and its measurement accuracy. Hugo Bruce, with the gallery space Valverde (Madrid). Alejandra Sampedro, with Gallery About Art (Pontevedra). And Rocio Verdejo, with the Art Deal Project (Barcelona).

ÁNGEL SAMBLANCAT
Director of Editorial and Art Gallery Polígrafa Graphic Art of Barcelona for 40 years and added to the address in Gallery Joan Prats (Barcelona) since its founding. Jury Member for the Triennial of Graphic Art Grenchen (Switzerland) and member of the Selection Committee for International Trade Art Contemporary Art Chicago (Illinois), Art Miami (Florida), Art Los Angeles (California), ARCO (Madrid ), Art Cologne (Germany), Art Basel (Switzerland), Art Bo - Bogota (Colombia) and Art Basel / Miami Beach (Florida).

SILVIA LINDNER
Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country and since 2007, Director of the Museum Würth La Rioja. Previously he was technical and coordinator between 1997 and 2007, the Department of Conservation Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and performed work for private companies, AENA Foundation and Horizon II Project (CEE Regional and Provincial Cantabria). He has participated as a speaker at various seminars and roundtables and has served on juries of international significance as the Velázquez Prize (2010).

JAVIER LOPEZ VÉLEZ
Since 1994 he is artistic director of 3 Punts Gallery of Art, based in Barcelona and Berlin. Expert Technical Projects and Studies in Sociology drawing, has been an independent curator in different institutional exhibition in Barcelona, ??Hospitalet and Andorra. Under his direction, the gallery organizes seven to eight solo exhibitions a year, with a clear evolution towards new artistic languages ??and in which the work of curating and selection of works and artists is impeccable. As a gallery owner, participates in exhibitions and art events inside and outside our borders for nearly two decades.

TENREIRO RICARDO DA CRUZ
Director of Art Lounge Gallery Lisbon (Portugal). Formed in International Trade in London, where he discovered a love of painting and the power of art as a key factor in increasing the culture of cities. With this motivation, and since then, is dedicated to finding artists to take them to Portugal. Member of the Chamber of Commerce of Portugal-Singapore develops commercial and artistic relations between the two countries.

CARLOS DELGADO BUTLER
BA in Art History from the Complutense University of Madrid. Coordinator exhibition projects of the International Fund Endowment for the Arts / fiart and head of exhibitions of the City of Las Rozas. Xtrart website editor and contributor professor at Aularte. Independently for museums and institutions in Spain and Latin America Commissioner. Has developed, among others, the Ciria exhibitions. Rare paintings (2008), Agustí Centelles: Memory Box (2009), Synergies. Contemporary Latin American art in Spain (with Carlos Jiménez, 2011), Storymakers (2013) and David Trullo.
