Jose Luis Gonzalez, costume designer in Cuba whose creation emanates from the vital power of color and sensuality of the Caribbean, is today a reference in the Cuban fashion when getting with his proposals the magic of art.
He graduated from San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts and is the creator of Modarte project. He is part of the catalog of the Agency of Artistic Representation Caricatos, developer of the best talent from the island, which congratulates him on his 65th anniversary, 45 of which dedicated to the world of fashion.
His costumes, characterized by the use of hand-painted fabrics, softness and diversity, are unique pieces that have positioned themselves in the domestic market and in international gateways for their innovation and exclusivity.
The magic touch of the creator Jose Luis Gonzalez is revealed in the glamour of the mannequins of Modarte Company, who exhibit, through their artistic creations, performances, body painting and photography, contemporary and perfect fusion of fashion and Folklore.
