A PROJECT FOR THE VISUAL ARTS IN TRINIDAD

A proposal that has been girt in time with new regional allies, new strength and artistic events

The municipal initiative of local development project Visual Arts of Trinidad was initially conceived with the aim of creating spaces and alternatives of excellence for the promotion and marketing of visual arts and other art forms, involving culture-related sectors that generate professional utilities for the safeguarding and protection of heritage and the promotion and strengthening of the cultural program of the territory.

The currently Visual Arts has managed to produce, promote and market goods and services related to any type of event contemplated within the fine arts and applied to all scales and concepts of design, decorative arts, those related to the restoration and conservation heritage, trades and crafts, folk crafts, artistic education and research, art associated with new technologies, photography, audiovisual, printing and serial reproductions, advertising and art digital, among others.

Among its achievements and utopias is the production of objects, items, accessories and artistic and utilitarian constructive purposes and site elements; articles, objects and accessories for institutional and domestic use; works of fine and applied arts, decorative arts, equipment, furniture, objects and handicrafts, ornamental, artistic and utilitarian and advertising accessories, among other goods to qualify an environment; joinery, marquetry and artistic carpentry services; blacksmithing, forging, jewelry and metalwork; works in fiber, textiles, leather and harness; environmental sculpture, art ceramic and utilitarian pottery, stained glass, muralist and various fixtures.

The project also seeks to plastering, ferrocement, works in marble, casting techniques, pressing and molds; veneers, tiles, objects, accessories and solutions for floors, walls, roofs, ceilings, facades, patios and terraces; mural painting and painting solutions and specialty coatings; scenery and lighting fixtures; graphic design, signage and advertising; moldings, marquetry, glassware and accessories for assembly; prints and reproductions on any kind of support or material relating to corporate identity and promotion of the various institutions and sectors; scenery, decoration for festivals and events, landscape design and flower arrangements; services related to clothing and textile printing and production.

It is, therefore, a proposal that has equipped itself over time with new regional allies, new strength and artistic events and especially strengthened its conception to enrich the development of Trinitarian culture from the perspective of self-management and self-financing.
