PArC 2019, a meeting point for art lovers

Characterized by an ambitious experimental program and a selection of first level galleries, PArC has positioned itself among the most relevant cultural exchange platforms in the region. PArC will take place from April 25 to 28, 2019 at Casa Prado, Miraflores.

PArC 2019 will count in the general section with the participation of 40 important national and foreign art galleries, in addition it will have two sections: ONLY PROJECT curated by Ruth Estevez (Co-curator selected for the next Sao Paulo Biennial) and the NEXT section, curated by Florencia Portocarrero where it proposes the visualization of six emerging galleries with relevance within the contemporary scene of their regions.

There will also be the fifth edition of TIJUANA curated by Ana Luiza Pinheiro Fonseca and Magui Testoni. This space promotes the research of printed art in its different variables and places. Its objective is to strengthen production, exchange the dissemination of the book format throughout the region. The auditorium program will be in charge of curator Miguel López who proposes an international platform for meeting and debate on the changing dynamics of artistic production, art history, research, publications and collecting in Latin America in recent decades.

This year PArC 2019 will be activated as an artistic platform that will accompany the "Collectors Program" every day. The activities of the Program begin from Tuesday, April 23 in the evening until Sunday, April 28 in the morning.

This will be a special week dedicated to show the best of contemporary art where you can appreciate the important work that institutions, galleries and the support of local collectors to artists. Brunchs are announced in the emblematic museums, Gallery Day, visits to studios, cocktails and dinners in collectors' houses.
