Thirty Six Catalonian Exhibitors Attend FERIARTE 2010

The region of Catalonia will once again put on a good show in November during the Art & Antiques Fair. Thirty six galleries and antique shops from the region will be showcasing their most select offers, including furniture and decorative elements, plus a thoroughly protected array of watches, porcelains, jewels, Oriental art, African art, painting and sculptures. Thirty four of them will travel from Barcelona and two from Girona.

Among the exhibitors of classic paintings visitors will feats eyes on the works of Art Petritxol, Galeria Bernat and Xarrie Antiquari, while in the field of ancient engraving the Libreria Anticuaria Violan will be the centerpiece. Painting from the 19th and 20th centuries will be shown by Dolors Junyent Galeria d’art, Galeria David Cervelló, Galeria Roger Viñuela, Galeria Jordi Pascual, Galeria Manuel Barbié, Gothsland, Jean-Paul Perrier Art Gallery, Manel Mayoral Galeria de Arte, Principal Art, Sadurni Galeria d´art, M. Codes and Victor i Fills Art Gallery, while the contemporary artworks will be in the hands of Galeria Anna Ruiz. At the same time, there’ll be jewelry, furniture, archeology, African art and tribal art, decorative arts and other artifacts displayed by Alcolea Sala Nonell, Aldaba Antigüedades, Miquel Alzuela, Las dos coronas Antigüedades, Javier Martí, Elisenda Barbié Arqueología, J. Bagot Arqueología, Galeria Raquel & Guilhem Montagut, David Serra Kumbi Saleh, Fins de siecles, Ferma Antigüedades, G.H. Bruguiere de Gorgot, Loval Antigüedades, Jordi Vergés Horlogerie de Collection and Antic Daro.

FERIARTE will show over 15,000 pieces of high artistic value from 140 attendees, all of them hailing from different styles, epochs and fields of expertise, with a minimum of 100 years under their belts, plus artworks from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco schools, paintings and sculptures by contemporary artists. Peculiar and exclusive pieces turn this fair into a great space to show Spanish ancient art. For over a decade now, this fair is a mandatory meeting ground for collectors and lovers of top-quality painting from the 19th and 20th centuries.
