FERIARTE Comes to an End on Sunday

All ancient art lovers will still have this weekend to visit FERIARTE, the Art & Antiquity Fair whose 34th edition will come to a close this Sunday.

The exhibit, opened on Nov. 19 by Princess Letizia, has once again turned Madrid into the center stage of the ancient art market, decorative pieces and painting. Over 15,000 artworks showcased by a grand total of 140 exhibitors and hailing from a variety of styles, times and specialties, can be appraised as both unique and exclusive pieces that certainly have made this event the number one of its kind over the past ten years as far as ancient art in Spain is concerned. This gathering is also a must for art collectors and lovers of the finest painting produced between the 19th and 20th centuries.

This particular edition has fostered the work of young art collectors with its Young Art Collector Gallery, a space where decorative art enthusiasts have managed to admire and buy interesting pieces at very affordable prices below 3,000 euros. The event seeks to bring the arts closer to all kind of public by showing that collections don’t necessarily mean unthinkable spending for some.

The fair will remain open to the public till Sun. Nov. 12 at 9:00 pm, in Pavilion 4 of the Madrid Fairgrounds.
