Peras de Olmo – Ars Continua space, headed by artist Graciela Ovejero Postigo, presents this week 2 new series of Open field /campo abierto project.
The 6th volume of Open field /campo abiertO Series titled PROPIEDAD INTENSIVA, is going to be launched on Wednesday, August 21, at 8 p.m. with artists Anibal Sandoval and Gustavo Solar.
The working style of the two artists that co-create PROPIEDAD INTENSIVA is a line close to the materiality of bodies, its immense capacity as instrument and field that arouses existential and spiritual energetic mutability. Anibal Sandoval and Gustavo Solar have developed a career of research and combined works, including curatorial actions in this new event.
Natalia Rondon’s GARAGE /cartografía de momentos is set to be inaugurated on Saturday 24th in PASA space – mini-mo (monologues of Rincon). The show, to be open through October “is an instalative snapshot of solitary behaviors that entail recollections, accumulations, generation and scrutinize of a traveling mini-chaos of pocket residues…”
GARAGE / en espacio PASA – mini-mo is the legacy of the presence and brief residence of this artist in Peras de Olmo – Ars Continua.
That very Saturday 24, Peras de Olmo – Ars Continua will be witnessing the presentation of the 7th volume of Open field /campo abierto Series, SALE CON FRITAS / con la comida no se juega, co-curated by Nelda Ramos and Alejandra Bocquel, with 19 guest artists.
A group of artists made up of Norberto José Martínez / Carina Ferrari / Laura Domínguez y Viviana Ramos Di Tommaso / Ignacio Mendía / Gabriela Alonso / Anabel Perego / Roberto Ruíz y Gabriel Condoleo / Carolina Montano / Jorge Domenighini / Mónica García, will be carrying out action in real time.
Meanwhile, Paula Pinedo / Maia Cosin / Gabriel Baggio / Alfredo Portillos / Bocquel – Ferrari / Claudia Raimondo / Eli Ferrari are going to screen a video-presentation.
“SALE CON FRITAS / con la comida no se juega is put on the map like a series of future events “Cycle of Action Art and Gastronomy”, curators Alejandra Bocquel and Nelda Ramos have might and mean for a long time (…) The event “will be organized as a menu with Starter, Main Course and Dessert” and presented as a WORK IN PROGRESS, with live actions and a video-presentation “of references/referents of the culinary in the work of contemporary artists” that is part of the compiling research related to this topic.”
