Musac Proposes “A Meeting called 987. Live Arts at the Exhibition Ground”

Laboratorio 987 is a project developed by Spanish artists Chus Dominguez, Nilo Gallego and Silvia Zayas for the fourth and last exhibition of series La forma y el querer-decir, curated by Leire Vergara for Laboratorio 987 space at MUSAC. Opened on June 22, Laboratorio 987 project has been conceived as a process of open work and collaboration among these three artists, aimed at tackling new ways to think of production times and presentation of artistic work within the context of live arts (stage, choreographic, performance arts), and the limits or structures that determine and shape their translation in the expositive and/or stage space.

In this sense, “Un Encuentro Llamado 987” suggests an exchange of experiences, ideas and approaches on the place and time that occupy and could be occupied by live arts in the expositive space. On November 15 - 17, the meeting will be trying to promote reflection through the artistic practice as such, thus generating opportunities out of idiosyncrasy of live action.

Participating artists: Silvia Zayas, Marc Vives, Leire Vergara, somospeces≠, María Ptqk, Ruben Ramos,  Katsunori Nishimura, Isabel de Naverán, Arantxa Martínez, Nilo Gallego, Chus Dominguez.
