Cuba’s National Ballet to start new international tour

Soon, Cuba’s National Ballet will perform in foreign recognized stages as part of the tour that includes presentations in Canada, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

 

With the artistic and choreography direction by Alicia Alonso, the piece Don Quixote will be on the stage from May 2 to 8 at the Salle Wilfrid-Petellier de Place des Arts, cultural and artistic complex in downtown Montreal, Quebec.

 

Likewise, from June 7 to 20, the Cuban company will perform Giselle in the Sala de Festivales del Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

 

Besides, during that same period of time it will also take to the Dominican Republic the famous anthology La magia de la danza that includes scenes of the Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Coppelia and Don Quixote, among other ballets.
