With each successive edition, BEIRUT ART FAIR solidifies its position as a must-see event in an established art market at the heart of one of the most vibrant creative scenes in the Middle East.
The fair's 8th edition in 2017 will be marked by the participation of around 50 galleries from 20 countries including Argentina, Belgium, Chile, France, Italy, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Syria and the United Kingdom.
The fair's centerpiece exhibition, OUROUBA, THE EYE OF LEBANON, will bring to light the aesthetic, conceptual and socio-political concerns that have surfaced in the Arab world over the last decade, based on choice loans from the best private and institutional collections in Lebanon. The fair's REVEALING section, devoted to the discovery of young talent, will significantly increase its space, with some 30 galleries showcasing their most promising young artists.
