London Art Week. From East to West

Separated throughout history Asia and Europe have looked at each other with the blindness of a game of mirrors. And if curiosity is probably the best word to describe the relationship between West and East, the arts, as a symbol of the poetry and transcendence leftovered by human activity trough the centuries, might be the only of those mirror reflections effective enough to capture the spectacularity of the differences between these two worlds. As if this would have been possible, to crown it all, America enters on the stage after the Discovery.

The result was a variegated network of commercial relations, cultures, religions and interests that can be sintered in the few pieces that have witnessed those remains of a past and that lasted nowadays.

Thats why, every piece included in this exhibition was carefully chosen. Always with the aim to provide the spectator with the necessary bridges to transit this path full feelings, details and hidden meanings.
