EFG Wealth Management principal sponsor of Pinta Miami

For the fifth consecutive year, EFG announces its support as the main sponsor of PINTA MIAMI 2018-Crossing Cultures. Also, the EFG Latin American Art Award in collaboration with ArtNexus demonstrated this commitment to the region, its culture and its people, which goes together with the activities linked to the art they internationally promote . This acquisition prize, which takes place for the eighth year, recognizes the work of emerging artists.

INELCOM Contemporary Art Collection-Spain

In its Collections Program, PINTA MIAMI has the honor to present, for the first time, the INTELCOM Contemporary Collection, one of the most important Corporate Collections in Spain. On the occasion of the presence of the Collection, the fair will organize several events and private visits.

Vicente Quilis, President of ITELCOM, was the founder of both, the company and the collection, project which Javier Quilis continues as CEO of the corporation, curator of the INTELCOM Contemporary Art Collection and organizer of the exhibition at PINTA MIAMI 2018. The advice of the collection is in charge of Vicente Todolí since 2011.

The INTELCOM Contemporary Art Collection comprises two hundred and eighteen works by seventy nine artists who work in painting, drawing, photography, film, video and installation, including Rosa Barba, Johanna Calle, Andrea Canepa, Bruce Conner , Joan Jonas, Juliao Sarmento, Antony McCall, Steve McQueen, Juan Muñoz, Ernesto Neto and Damián Ortega, among others. At the same time with the creation of the collection, a local was built  , which currently reaches almost four thousand square meters in its headquarters in Madrid, and it is open to the public in an organized visit.

Tributes in PINTA MIAMI 2018

Among the special events of 2018, it was highlight the tribute to Celia Sredni de Birbragher, Founder and Director of the magazine ArtNexus, because of her work  for more than 40 years promoting Latin American art and, the Tribute to Sofía Ímber, the most distinguished promoter of contemporary art  of Venezuela, creator of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Caracas Sofia Imber (MCACSI)  and one of the most influential figures in the contemporary history of Latin America.

PINTA MIAMI launches its new website PINTA MIAMI in its efforts to improve, has renewed its image and launched a new website, where you can find detailed information about the fair and its contents for the next edition. The new site highlights, the VIP section, where VIP guests can access the calendar to consult the events organized during the days of the fair among other sections.
