A new edition of Arteamerica, the online magazine published by Casa de las Americas, is now on the World Wide Web. This issue is dedicated to the contemporary art in Puerto Rico.
The Dossier starts with a text by Orlando Victores Gattorno on the graphic arts on that Caribbean island, followed up by proposals made by Javier A. Roman Nieves, Enityaset Rodriguez (an interview with artist Carola Cintron), Nahela Hechavarria (the magazine’s editor) who lets us take a closer look at Puerto Rican photographers Sandra Reus, and Anaeli Ibarra.
The Memories section in this magazine issue is devoted to the Third Latin American Fine Arts Meeting back in 1976, an event that focused on Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Panama.
