Seventeen Canvases & Sculptures at AM Gallery

Beso de sirena (Mermaid Kiss), a personal exhibit by Marina Anaya, addresses love, wanderlust and music.

The artist’s style is clear is every expression, from engraving –one of her strongest facets- all the way to sculpture.

Viewers swarming over the AM Gallery enjoy the quietness and serenity of Marina’s works. In a no-frills fashion and by the hand of a peculiar way of construing her own reality, Marina Anaya opens up a new exhibiting season at AM Gallery.

The artist says the driving force behind her work is the same that compels her in life: the backing and stability provided by family and friends, let alone the desire to grow. To her, the concept of accessible art for everybody is very important, something that she fosters in her work through the kind of motivation –not only aimed at collectors, but also at ordinary people- that encourages them to buy pieces and sell them at very affordable prices. To her, that’s the way to put artistic creation within the reach of all publics.

The exhibition is fitted out with the screening of Making Alice Club and a couple of videos shot by artist Jose Luis Puche. It will remain open at the AM Gallery thru May 6.
