Talents United is calling on designers, illustrators, photographers and creators from around the world to sign up for the 125th Anniversary National Geographic Challenge on www.talentsunited.com and come up with an original design that will be printed in a special edition of tee-shirts to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the National Geographic Society .
The entries could be sent to Talents United from June 10 thru July 10, 2013. The authors of the winning designs –one for each line: adults and children- will get 1,000 euros and 250 euros in items from the National Geographic Retail Store. What’s more, there’ll be two finalists for each line that will get 125 euros worth of products from the National Geographic Retail Store.
The National Geographic Retail Store is working jointly with the National Geographic Society to open a worldwide store network under the National Geographic banner in a bid to sell related products and items –clothing, luggage, accessories, maps, books and more. So far, the company has opened three flagship stores in London, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Madrid, and one at the Panama City airport. New openings in Spain, China, Australia and South Korea have been confirmed, as well as the advance of the brand in Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East.
