Espai 13 Presents Preventive Archeology Series

Fundació Joan Miró invites to the launching of Arqueología preventiva (Preventive Archeology) series at Fundació’ Espai 13, to take place on September 16, 13:00 h.

The presentation will be attended by curator Oriol Fontdevila, and artists: Oriol Vilanova, Lúa Coderch, Lola Lasurt and Antonio Gagliano. The first exhibition of the series, Oriol Vilanova’s Ella corrige las costumbres riendo, can be visited on that very day.

Arqueología preventiva, within the framework of the activities organized to commemorate the three centuries (1714), displays a series of paths that take viewers to different places to question the collective memory. Beyond investigating the past, the projects of Oriol Vilanova, Lúa Coderch, Lola Lasurt and Antonio Gagliano organize a succession of displacements on the superficial layer of memory, through the shapes taken by the exercise of writing history in these times.
