The 4th edition of Tardor Art ( www.tardorart.com ), to take place in Barcelona September 19 – November 3, includes plenty of new proposals. These innovative activities are aimed at generating new publics, activating other senses or, as a last resort, providing new dynamics to enrich the gallery context of the territory.
So, this year’s edition of "PROGRAMATE" has fostered the idea of having each gallery taking Tardor Art as a platform to increase the scope or their daily work, by the possibility to think beyond their reality and to imagine other ways to do things.
The slogan of the new edition is "Escoge que quieres ver...o ven a verlo todo! (Choose what you want to see… or come and see it all)". Make your arrangements and participate in the activities: lectures, children workshops, round tables, collaborative happenings between public and artist, performances, actions to be carried out by artists, participative actions in the city; these are some of the initiatives scheduled for Tardor Art 2013.
The projects of galleries participating in this edition have been handpicked by a study commission made up of Ane Agirre, Juan Canela and Eudald Camps. The final proposals have been chosen to follow formats and contents in order to attract new publics.
Tardor Art is an initiative promoted by the three gallery associations of Catalonia: Catalonia’s Union of Art Galleries (GGAC), Art Barcelona Association (Abe) and Catalonia Association (art), as well as the Department of Culture.
