"Chávez y Fidel, hasta siempre" documentary will be launched on Saturday, February 21 at 11 am local time at the reading hall in the Morro-Cabañas complex in the context of the 24 International Book Fair that is taking place from February 12 to 22.
Under the direction of renowned Cuban documentary filmmaker and photographer Roberto Chile, co-direction by Fabiola López, edition by Salvador Combarro and original music by maestro Frank Fernández, this film recreates moments in which Commanders Hugo Chávez and Fidel Castro, shared leadership, reflections, as well as dreams and joys.
The CITMATEL publishing house, which was in charge of the DVD production, also included a gallery with unpublished images and others remaining by their great historical value, and that give them an additional value to this audiovisual product, which highlights the huge human dimension of both Latin American leaders, their great achievements, and the common struggle that brought together them for the sake of total independence and sovereignty of Latin America and the Caribbean.
