24 Premi TELAX

The 24 Premi TELAX exhibition, which opens the July 16th at 13 o’clock, brings together the works of the 17 artists selected for this contest of contemporary art, celebrated annually by Antoni Pinyol Gallery since its inception in 1992.

In this edition, most participating artists move in the field of painting, although doing so through very different trends, however, we also find space for sculpture. The works show very different aesthetic, from works that are still looking for references in the painting of the 70s, to more close to conceptual and minimal art, going even through works that have their reference in graffiti, for example.

The award of this edition was granted to Jose Manuel Albarran, and two second prize for Mireia Cifuentes and Zaloa Ipiña.

The jury has been formed by Enric Oliva, collector; Francesc Magarolas, architect; Josep Maria Joan, director of the Toy Museum in Figueres; Josep Manuel Rigat, architect; Montse Aguer, director of the Dali Museum in Figueres; and Antoni Pinyol, director of the gallery.
