Brasilia.- The photographic exhibition Fidel is Fidel, by filmmaker Roberto Chile, was open to Brazilian public today at the Theatre of the Bankers, in this capital, due to the commemoration in Cuba the Day of National Rebellion. July 26 is one of the most significant dates of the long and heroic struggle of the Cuban people for their final independence, which restart was marked by the assaults to the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes garrisonds under the leadership of the historical leader of the Revolution, declared the ambassador Marielena Ruiz Capote.
The head of the diplomatic mission of Cuba in Brazil said that besides the 63rd anniversary of that event, the opening of the exhibition allows to celebrate the 90 years of the Commander in Chief, ' the inspirer of many other revolutionary processes' she highlighted.
Afonso Magalhaes, from the Brazilian Committee of Solidarity with Cuba, said Fidel Castro is a world leader who has influenced several generations of fighters and revolutionaries with his conscience and international solidarity, and added the occasion was right to pay tribute to the Commander of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez.
