“Descarga” at Miramar Café: A Cultural Space per Excellence

On September 3, with the performance by Cesar Lopez and Habana Ensemble, Radio Taino’s “A buena hora” show reintroducedDescarga (Jam Session) by means of a joint project with Artex Promociones Artísticas y Literarias, so listeners and the public attending the show can enjoy an unrepeatable musical show.
 
On Saturdays, 2-4 p.m., the enthusiasts of Jazz and fans of those artists that offer jam sessions will find at Miramar Café a space to enjoy the most authentic elements of both Cuban and international music.
 
Since its opening to date, Descarga has also counted on the presence of Orlando Valle “Maracas”, Zule Guerra, Alejandro Falcon, David Blanco and, on Saturday October 8, Tony Avila invited Jade Duo, Pablo Menendez and Eduardo Sosa, thus showing the excellence of a space that gathers musicians and listeners, so Cuban culture and music play the leading role.
 
The schedule for the rest of October includes Jesus Fuentes and Santo Tomas Conexion Quintett, who will be offering a jam session with jazz and Caribbean music on the 15th; Emilio Morales y los Nuevos Amigos, will be accompanied by the heiress to Celina Gonzalez, Maria Victoria Rodriguez, on Saturday 22nd. October will come to an end with a jazz show by Michel Herrera y su Grupo, on the 29th.
 
Devoted to jazz since its opening back in 2012, Miramar Café, 5th Ave 94th corner, has become a must-visit place for Cuban and international jazz artists, who feel comfortable with the intimate environment and excellent acoustics of the place, as well as the quality of its gastronomic service.
