NEW ERA FOR ART BY EXCELLENCIES

In La Casa Vieja,  by Cuban playwright Abelardo Estorino, Esteban, the protagonist, says a beautiful and provocative phrase: "I believe in what is alive and changes". This is the concept and inspiration of the team that we have met with the commitment to give continuity to the magazine Art by Excellencies in what  we might consider, from this number twenty, a new era.

The biggest challenge is to replace an artistic microcosm for a cultural macrocosm able to display, promote, evaluate and record not only elitist art and popular demonstrations and movements, but to strive to find and collaborating with all the activities planned to the development of culture in the nations of Latin America and the Caribbean.

And at this time we started, the previous editions of the magazine, as many know, noted for their excellent quality of works to the visual arts, and they are certainly a precedent and incitement to the continuity of the values added to this publication.

From this perspective, Art by Excellencies will not be alone or only a printed magazine, but a cultural project open to dialogue, reflection, the designing spaces for thinking, organizing events, forums, seminars, talks taxing the necessary meetings of the arts and artists, philosophers, scientists, men and women of thought, which, despite the follies of the contemporary world, still believe in what is alive and changes.
