Hence Artistic and Literary Promotions Artex SA, developer and marketer of Cuban cultural product, in its 25th anniversary, has summoned the artists of the catalog of its importing Commercial Lauros, whose works have been reflected in the products of “Arte en Casa” ("Art at Home ") to develop the audiovisual project Video Artex.
Beyond a trade promotion, Video Artex aims to humanize this product line of renowned utility, beauty and collectible nature, through which art enters the privacy of Cuban homes to be installed as fashion and idioms.
Designed in five volumes with five audiovisuals each, the Video Artex allows the viewer access to the studios of artists and witnesses the depths of the creative process to be filmed painting new works for the project.
The music selected for each audiovisual, belonging to the record label Bis Music, by Artex, varies depending on the dynamics of the artists, and even of the issues that embellish its work.
The prestigious artists of Cuban plastic Arturo Montoto, Alfredo Sosabravo, Ernesto García Peña, Roberto González and Yasbel Pérez make up the first volume of the sample, which include performances of Lucia Huergo, Chicoy and El Greco.
And if fashion is concerned, Artex has created a line of products, from licensing the brand that represents the iconic musician Compay Segundo and his House Museum in textiles exhibiting leader pledge to the classical and elegant Cuban guayabera, made of linen and to colors that maintain the style of a garment that has established itself among the fashion trends of the tropics.
