In early March 2013, Medellin was described as “the most innovative city in the world" within the framework of a contest organized by the Urban Land Institute with the support of the Wall Street Journal and Citi group, 200 cities competed.
From September 6th to November 3rd, 2013, Medellin will be hosting the 43rd National (Inter) Artists Show, the largest artistic platform of the country, with the participation of over 100 Colombian and international creators. The members of the curatorial team come from Colombia, Argentina and Brazil: Mariangela Mendez (Artistic Direction), Florencia Malbran, Javier Mejia, Rodrigo Moura and Oscar Roldan Alzate.
