By: Adalys Pérez

With a great number of people was recently opened Post-it 3. Expoventa de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo (Post-it 3. Contemporary Cuban Art Exposale), one of the main proposals of visual arts as part of Habanarte festival, taking place in some seventy cultural institutions in the Cuban capital city up to September 13.

Four galleries that belong to the Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets—Galiano, Collage Habana, Arte-Facto and Artis 718—exhibit the works of 48 artists under 35, that won this contest whose main goal is to visualize the production of the youngest generation of creators in the country.

Painting, with 26 works, has the biggest presence in this third edition of the event, where there is also photography, sculpture, engraving and installation.

Diversity, also in themes and languages, characterizes each of the exhibitions, whose display was conceived taking into account the architectonic characteristics of every gallery and the harmonic coexistence of the pieces, visually and aesthetically.

Around 160  young artists from all the provinces in the country—except Guantanamo—answered to the call of this event which will finished next October 13 with the awarding ceremony and the presentation of the catalogue, published by Collage Ediciones from the Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets.
