Posters to homage the Cuban Revolution to be exhibited in Japan

A large show of Cuban films posters has been inaugurated in Tokyo to homage the 57th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. The exhibit has been organized by the National Film Centre of the Modern Arts Museum of Tokyo and presents a selection of 85 posters of films organized in three sections, one about Cuban films and the other two of Japanese and other countries films. 

 

During the period the exhibition will be displayed there will also be a parallel screening of Cuban films from the Revolution first decades.

 

The director of the NFC and coordinator of this show, Hidenori Okada, highlighted during the inauguration that Cuba has generated original serigraphy works with an exceptional quality of designs in the posters films scope.

 

After being presented in Tokyo, the exhibit will move to Kyoto, where will it be opened until June this year.
