The next Thursday, April 6 the Villa Manuela Gallery will inaugurate the personal exhibition Sistémica, Thesis of the young artist Carla María Bellido. Systemic is the result of an investigation that goes by the way of understanding what are the fundamental causes or motives of an ordering within the artistic field.These interests are related to the nature of artistic production, "the role of making art" and the meaning of culture in our society. It is an attempt to expose how built can be notions such as subjectivity, imagination, criteria of truthfulness and the attitudes we assume as artists and human beings. Systemic proposes to question the models of reproduction intrinsic to these phenomena and our dependence as cultural subjects of what we consume, what precedes us and builds us from outside (country, social context and even structures of our art system).
The exhibition will be open until Thursday, April 13.
