Nader Contemporary is pleased to present Approaching Photography featuring an outstanding collection of contemporary photographers from the gallery’s collection.
Approaching Photography explores the ways in which artists use photography as an art expression, constantly defined by new technologies and formats and as an aesthetic representation and documentation about our world, society, politics, philosophy, religion and values, among other relevant subjects.
Featuring works by Mikhail Baryshnikov, Dino Bruzzone, Peter Fischli & David Weiss, Nan Goldin, Andreas Gursky, Nathan Leight, Dora Maar, Chiara Mecozzi, Vik Muñiz, Guillermo Muñoz Vera, Pablo Picasso, Thomas Ruff and Andy Warhol.
The exhibition will be on view at Gary Nader Art Centre, Wynwood Arts District, Miami.
Opening reception: Friday, September 7, 7-10pm
On view: September 8 – October 12, 2018
