arteBA stands in solidarity and postpones its dates

In a recent communication issued by the organizers of arteBA 2020, the fair par excellence of the visual arts in Argentina, scheduled for April 16 to 19, 2020 in La Rural, will be postponed due to the impact of the COVID-19 virus on global level.

The measure is in line with the recommendations of authorities and specialists and with the efforts that the main actors of the art world are making worldwide in the face of this problem.

Traditionally, arteBA mobilizes a large number of people, including artists, gallery owners, collectors, and art lovers in general from different countries, and the Argentine government has recommended that no events involving a massive foreign public be held.

The postponement will be until, according to what the organizers have reported, "the conditions are in place for the fair to run absolutely safely."

"For this, opinions and interests of gallery owners, artists' spaces, NGOs, sponsors and other sectors linked to this fair, which are an important part of each edition, will be taken into special consideration."

This statement also states that the same criteria will be followed with U, T, O, P, I, A, 20/20, the new young art fair that was to be launched this year on the same dates, in the Equine Pavilion of La Rural.

Arte por Excelencias, arteBA media partners, joins the samples of solidarity with those affected and shares their wishes for an early solution to the problem.
