Come March, Art Basel will foreground trailblazing artistic practices with ‘OVR: Pioneers’, its sixth edition of Online Viewing Rooms. The upcoming initiative will be dedicated to artists who have broken new aesthetic, conceptual, or socio-political ground. As with ‘OVR:2020’ and ‘OVR:20c’, ‘OVR: Pioneers’ will feature up to 100 exhibitors. This upcoming edition will run from March 24–27, 2021.
Furthermore, two additional thematic Online Viewing Rooms will take place in 2021: a freestanding edition in June, with Art Basel curators determining themes, as well as 'OVR:2021' in November, which will be dedicated to artworks created this year.
