Opening of the solo exhibition Hacia el poeta, by the Spanish artist Marivi Nebreda

From Friday, October 10th, the exhibition Hacia el poeta, from the Spanish artist Marivi Nebreda will be appreciated by the public, at the headquarters of the Office of Lloyd. Register in Havana (B No. 310 corner to 15 Vedado).

An exhibition framed in the Sierra del Rosario project coordinated by the office of Lloyd. Register in Havana. Marivi Nebreda builds her paintings from the poetry work of Antonio Machado, Juan Ramón Jimenez, Miguel Hernandez, Leon Felipe, Angel Lopez, Ruben Dario, Jose Marti, Cesar Vallejo without forgetting Nicolas Guillen, Dulce Maria Loynaz, Carilda Oliver Labra and Reina Maria Rodriguez and others many voices of Latin American literature in all tenses.

David Matthew writes in the words of the catalog. "Nebreda could not pick a more functional scenario than Havana to exhibit her first paintings inspired by the work of international poets, in the will of reinterpretation of some iconic works of these authors. Her exhibition may be valued beyond the perspective of identification or intercultural dialogue, the motivational preambles shown themselves proximity to the context, the domain of a series of knowledge needed to carry out an experience of cultural interpenetration”
