Last days to enter the contest idoArte Madrid recycla

The contest id·Arte Madrid Recicla  that joins Art and Recycling, reaches its final stretch. Those interested in participating in the category of Audiovisual or Installations have until October 31st  to submit their projects following the bases found on the website www.idarterecicla.com.

Art  and Recycling competition has an emphasis on creativity to draw attention to the different recycling possibilities offered through artistic disciplines such as ephemeral architecture and cinema, showing that many of the things that are thrown to be considered useless can be recycled to create something with new purposes, and not just aesthetic.

The first edition of the contest includes an exceptional jury. Rodrigo Sorogoyen is the president of the Audiovisual Section, while the young architect Sofia Blanco-Santos -who currently continues her education at Harvard and University—and the painter and designer Carlos Macia –awarded with the prestigious Pollock Krasner Award--, is the president of the Installation Section.

Gonzalo Salazar-Simpson is also part of the jury --present director of ECAM (School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of Madrid) and film producer of films like No habrá paz para los malvados and 8 apellidos vascos; and Rufino Ferreras - responsible for Educational Development of Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid, director of educational portal www.educathyssen.org and projects as www.c2edumtb.org or www.aquipintamostodos.edu  about art education and museums.
