GUILLO

Guillermo Bastias was born in Chile. He studied Architecture and Filmmaking at the Universidad Catolica. His caricatures have been published by APSI, El Mercurio dominical, the Cine magazine and others. In 1985 he won the First Prize at the International Humor Graphic Contest in Duisburg, Germany, and in 1988 he grabbed the First Prize at the International Caricature Exhibit in Montreal, Canada. He put out a book entitled Humor is stronger, with Chile’s Ediciones del Ornitorrinco.
