The EXCELENCIAS AWARDS were founded in 2005 by the “Excelencias Group” media group, in a bid to foster excellence in different fields, all of them related to tourism and culture. Since then, they have turned out to be a benchmark for those involved in this major industry who conduct they daily job with the purpose of achieving the goal of being excellent.
Over the past years, besides the EXCELENCIAS TURISTICAS AWARDS, the list includes the EXCELENCIAS GOURMET AWARDS, “SILVIA ZORZANELLO AWARD”, as a tribute to the work of a lifetime carried out in Brazil by Silvia Zorzanello, “RAMON ALVAREZ AWARD”,which honors figures that have stood out due to their achievements and contributions to the travel industry, and it’s given to an institution or personality committed to the MICE sector; as well as NICOLAS MUELA AWARD, to be handed to projects focused on the research and promotion of gastronomy culture in Latin America.
NOMINATIONS:
EXCELENCIAS TURISTICAS AWARDS: For projects or companies linked to the travel industry, which have stood out in 2016 with remarkable actions, significant ideas or creative plans that make a difference in the sector.
EXCELENCIAS GOURMET AWARDS: For countries, cities, states, towns, companies or people from the gastronomic sector, who have developed projects, establishments, ideas, events or any action related to the gastronomic industry or gastronomic tourism in 2016.
Applications shall be sent to our jury, which is made up of outstanding members of the travel and gastronomic industries, so the winners can be chosen. The names will be announced in the early days of January.
The nomination format must include:
- MATTER: NOMINATION TO THE EXCELENCIAS TURISTICAS AWARDS OR EXCELENCIAS GOURMET.
- NAME OF THE COMPANY AND/OR PERSON.
- NAME OF THE PROJECT.
- EXPLANATION OF THE PROPOSAL: TWO PARRAGRAPHS (Information dossier can be attached).
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT NOMINATIONS: DECEMBER 19, 2016
