We are delighted to announce that Art Basel Hong Kong 2023 will take place from March 23 to 25 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), with Vernissage on March 22 from 5pm to 9pm. As Hong Kong has lifted all remaining travel restrictions for arrival to the city, we look forward to welcoming back our international community to our upcoming Hong Kong show.
Premier Pass, Vernissage and general tickets are now available online. While Vernissage offers an advanced access to the show, Premier Pass guarantees an enriched Art Basel experience, including Vernissage and VIP-hour access, and an exciting array of perks including selected VIP benefits and shuttle bus service from HKCEC to Central during show hours.
The largest Art Basel’s show in Hong Kong since 2019, this edition brings together 177 leading galleries from 32 countries and territories. It marks the return of Encounters, the fair’s sector dedicated to large-scale works; as well as Kabinett, featuring thematic and focused presentations, making this the first Hong Kong show to feature all special sectors since 2019.
Alongside a robust roster of returning galleries, 22 first-time exhibitors will join from across the world this year, presenting Modern and contemporary works of the highest quality by emerging and established artists. The Film sector will also return in addition to Conversations, tour renowned talks program on the evolving global art scene. Please follow our social media for the latest update about the show.
