Havana.- The International New Latin American Movie Festival in its 2016 edition includes several of the great Cuban classic films, and this time, with a renewed image coming with the restoration.
The 2016 edition's program out of competition is formed by four iconic films: 'Memorias del Subdesarrollo', Los Sobrevivientes', 'Una Pelea Cubana contra los Demonios' and ' Retrato de Teresa'.
Luciano Castillo, director of the Cinema House of Cuba (Cinemateca), there will be a section called Clasicos Restaurados (Restored Classics) showing these restored films.
The program comprises two other works by Tomás Gutiérrez Alea (Titon), one of the most important directors of the Latin American cinema.
