Haydee Milanes to present her album "Palabras" at the National Theater

Pablo Milanés (D), Marta Valdés (C) y Haydée Milanés, durante el concierto qPalabras, the latest album by Cuban singer Haydee Milanes with music by Cuban composer Marta Valdes returns to the scene in a concert at the Avellaneda room at the National Theater on Wednesday, January 14 at 8:30 pm.
 

As guest artists to perform in this event will be Cuban singer and song writer Pablo Milanes, musician Ernán López-Nussa and composer Marta Valdés, whom will be dedicated this concert for her 60 years of artistic life.


 

Palabras, an album edited by Bis Music record label, was presented to the public in October at the Mella Theater. According to Haydée Milanés who was born in 1980 and used to listen to Marta Valdés’s songs since she was a child, this album was produced in two and a half and includes “complex themes with a special atmosphere which I love and I feel myself identified with them."

 

Haydee Milanes’s discography includes Haydée 2005,  Haydée Mi­la­nés en Vivo, 2008; and A la felicidad, 2009. She has toured  sveral countries such Mexico, Chile, Brasil, Argentina, Spain, United States and Japan.
