Dance and technology project (in)Disciplinas will be presented with a different show every night during June 9, 11 and 13 at the Tito Junco Room of the Bertolt Brecht Cultural Centre in El Vedado, as part of the program of the 12th Havana.
With a curator work and original idea of Andrés D. Abreu, different inter-disciplinary collectives made up by dancers, choreographers, visual artists, musicians, performers and videodanza makers have created multimedia performances from a borderless and open thought with a multilingual, questioning, transgressor and reflexive poetic about the future of human coexistence and the respect for the diversity of identities.
The project’s producers are Adolfo Izquierdo, Ricardo Rodríguez, Beatriz García and Raúl Reinoso, with guest choreographers Gabriela Burdsall, Liliam Padrón, Yanosky Suárez and Esteban Aguilar, and dancers groups from DCC (Cuban Contemporary Dance Company), ISA Danza and Danza Espiral.
Greench, Rezaka, Dj Kike Wolf and Dj del Valle will be responsible for the electronic music, essential element of the show.
Participating in the performance are visual creators Yusniel Mentado, Jeosviel Abstengo, Fernando Cruz, Alberto Domínguez and Marcel Márquez with special presentations of artists María Ribot and Cuqui Jerez, from Spain, Stéphane Broc, from France, Billy Cowie, from the United Kingdom and the Sin rumbo group.
