Feature Contemporary Art Fair in Toronto

From 22 to 25 October 2015, the Feature Contemporary Art Fair will take place at the Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Opera Centre in Toronto, Canada.

 

This will be the second edition of the art fair which is expanding after the success from the first. It will occupy spaces on the first and second floors of the Imperial Oil Opera Theatre, inviting 30 galleries from Canada, the United States and United Kingdom, selected by the committee comprised of curators and collectors. To name a few galleries exhibiting: Battat Contemporary, in Montreal; Monte Clark Gallery, in London; Georgia Sherman Projects, based in Toronto and Patrick Mikhail in Ottawa (Canada).

 

The organisers of the show are the Contemporary Art Galleries Association (AGAC) which is a not-for-profit organisation whose primary aim is to further develop the recognition and prosperity of the contemporary art market in Canada today. Today, AGAC regroups galleries in Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa, Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. Art advisor and collector, Jeanne Parkin has been appointed Ambassador of the fair for a second consecutive year by AGAC. Ambassadors of the fair are art patrons, Ann and Marshall Webb. They have been collecting art together for over 25 years.
