COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The granddaughter of artist Pablo Picasso is scheduled to deliver a free public lecture in Columbus discussing a new art exhibition exploring his legacy.
Diana Widmaier (VID'-mahr) Picasso, co-curator of the Picasso.mania exhibition, speaks in conjunction with After Picasso: 80 Contemporary Artists. After Picasso is now on view at the Wexner Center for the Arts located at Ohio State University.
Jack Cowart, executive director of The Roy Lichtenstein Foundation, joins her for the conversation Nov. 13 at Mershon Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
The show features 150 works by 80 artists, including the pop artist Lichtenstein, that explore and reflect on the work of Picasso, considered one of the 20th century's most influential artists.
