By Alain Valdés

A series of concerts around several Cuban provinces will offer jazz singer Zule Guerra, companied by her band Blues de Habana to promote her first album and to celebrate the 3oth anniversary of the Hermanos Saiz Association (AHS).

The first stop of this tour—that will last until April 15—was Holguin. She also performed in Camaguey, and it will follow concerts on March 27 and 28, in Villa Clara, and Cienfuegos in March 30 and 31.

The concerts in April will take place in Ciego de Avila (2 and 3), in Granma (5 ), Santiago de Cuba (6 and 7 ) and finally, in Varadero, Matanzas, on April 15.

The production they are promoting is titled Blues de Habana—like the group—and iit is a CD-DVD licensed by EGREM record company and which gathers the details of the concert Zule Guerra and her musicians performed in October 2014 at the Theater of the National Fine Arts Museum.

Dedicated to the woman in jazz music and on the mix of this genre with others like blues, hip hop and electronic music, the singer included several guests like maestro Bobby Carcases and young trumpet player Yasek Manzano.
