BEIRUT ART FAIR 2016 | Participating galleries

40 galleries from 18 countries will participate in the 7th edition of BEIRUT ART FAIR, which will take place from 15 to 18 September at the BIEL in Beirut. These galleries will be present in the fair’s classic exhibition space and in the new REVEALING by SGBL section, dedicated to the discovery of the most promising young talents from the ME.NA.SA. region.

The classic exhibition space will once again welcome the major historical galleries of Lebanon, including the Galerie Janine Rubeiz, the Galerie Tanit and Aïda Cherfan Fine Art, alongside more recent Lebanase venues including Art on the 56th, Fadi Mogabgab, Mark Hachem, South Border, and the Galerie Jacques Ouaiss.

Bahrain and Jordan will be represented, respectively, by Albareh Art Gallery and by Wadi Finan Art Gallery.

From outside of the ME.NA.SA. region, the fair will welcome the Laura Arce Gallery by Ines Etchebarne (Argentina), the Galerie Albert Baronian (Belgium), the A&V Art Gallery (Belarus), the Island 6 Gallery (China), the Galerie Françoise Livinec (France), the Sud Gallery (France), the Galleria Pack (Italy), and the Xol Art Gallery (USA).

The fair’s new REVEALING by SGBL section will bring to light the best young talents from the ME.NA.SA. region. To encourage their discovery by collectors and fairgoers, REVEALING by SBGL will give each selected gallery the chance to present an especially promising artist, offering the possibility to build privileged contacts with the various publics present at the fair. REVEALING by SGBL will welcome 27 galleries from 13 countries, including Algeria and Palestine, each represented at the fair for the first time.
