Cuban Leoni Torres Signs Contract with Magnus Media

HAVANA, Cuba.- Cuban singer Leoni Torres recently signed a record contract with the U.S. Magnus Media Company, a young enterprise that already has Cuban music exponents in its catalog, like the group Gente de Zona.

 


The interpreter, also the author of the piece Traidora, popularized by the duo composed of Randy Malcom and Alexander Delgado and by salsa performer Marc Anthony, announced on Thursday in social networks that many things approach, "this is a dream come true," he pointed out.

 


I'm very grateful to Magnus, to Marc Anthony and to my friends of Gente de Zona, commented Torres, who traveled to the United States invited by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) to participate in a music workshop with renowned producers and composers.

 


Magnus Media announced on Wednesday the contract with the singer-songwriter, who began his career as a soloist in 2007 after performing with groups like Maravillas de Florida and Charanga Habanera.

 


At present the artist is on a tour that started in Spain and will take him to stages in France, Italy and Switzerland.

 


In addition, he's also working on his fourth album, in which he will include the hits Amor bonito and Para que un día vuelvas, and will have several top Cuban artists as guests.
