PULSE Miami Beach is thrilled to announce its PROJECTS for the 2016 edition which returns to Indian Beach Park from Thursday, December 1 through Sunday, December 4. Through the performances and large-scale installations included in PROJECTS, the fair builds on its legacy of strong programming to complement its diverse community of local and international exhibitors.
PULSE kicks off on opening day with a robust schedule of performances. Guests will have the opportunity to partake in ‘The Transformational Makeover Salon’ by Erica Prince, a relational project and participatory installation in which Prince experiments with her subject’s physical appearance as a means of liberation. Beach Sessions, started in New York's Rockaway Beach by curator Sasha Okshteyn, heads South to Miami, bringing along new pieces by choreographers Loni Landon and BOOMERANG. Also on opening day, Miami-based Peter London Global Dance Company will join PULSE for a special Caribbean dance performance during the Young Collectors Cocktails.
