This Saturday, March 23, at 11:00 a.m., La Cometa Bogota will inaugurate "Aurora", the most recent exhibition by Colombian artist Juan Delgado (1973). The show, which will include works that move between the limits of painting, sculpture and installation, is the materialization of questions that have occupied Delgado's attention during the last years: how to represent the transit between life, illness and death? Can the properties of matter show the revelation of a spiritual experience?
In the history of art and the world, Delgado finds answers and the beginning of a plastic exploration that is nourished by the knowledge of the phenomena that alter matter, the correspondences that can be found in luminescence, the quantum theories that are susceptible of becoming objects, the spiritual search as an intricate and challenging path.
