Museum Island Berlin: an Art and Architectural Gem

Berlin.- Tour operators and other tourism professionals highlighted the particular attraction of the Island of Museums for travelers from all over the world, in the center of the German capital.

They remember that Berlin is recognized by clubs, electronic music, and underground culture, but today the highlight is the so-called Museum Island.

Located in the center of this city, the island is a set of few meters, where you can admire the delicacy of the bust of Nefertiti, the monumentality of the altar of Pergamon and the beauty of other wonders of disappeared civilizations.

It even exhibits the imposing Gates of Ishtar of legendary Babylon, the authentic ones.

The Museum Island is an island that is surrounded by the waters of the River Spree, which goes through the center of Berlin.

It houses five prestigious museums: the Pergamon Museum (Pergamonmuseum), the Bode Museum (Bode-Museum), the Old Museum (Altes Museum), the New Museum (Neues Museum) and the Old National Gallery (Alte Nationalgalerie).
