Niq Nanu Daah is surrounded by a mysterious aura, both in her person and within her artistic work.
The focus of her series of so-called Snow Images is the increasingly problematic cultural, global, environmental pollution.
With extreme shades of white, as well as her pasty application of paint, she creates large-scale surfaces, with a crumbling impression, and which are based on the slow melting of the icebergs.
Very deep in the inside of these images, she voices her concern about the irretrievable vilification and disappearance of indispensable witnesses to our existence.
