Arturo Valdés Curbeira, president of the Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets, in exclusive for Arte por Excelencias, highlighted the importance of the exhibition: "We are very pleased with this selection of twenty-five works made by the jury presided by Lesbia. Since last year we made the decision to do the event every year, as a way to consolidate this space for promoting young artists under thirty-five years old, so that we can provide more support in the commercialization of their works. It is the opinion of many that in this edition the quality has been superior, as well as the response from the plastic artists. The Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets will continue to defend the promotion and commercialization of Cuban artists, not just those from plastic arts, so that there will be a real and effective support, as an expression of the cultural policy of the Revolution.
