Medellin All Set to Host VIARTE

VIARTE has become the perfect space for visual artists from Medellin and every corner of Colombia to meet and make the most of a platform to put their works on the map.

It’s presently described as Colombia’s grand urban gallery and, by following the concept of an exhibition and artistic space completely open to the people, last year it totaled 137 artists, including painters, sculptors and photographers, along with dancers, performance artists and lecturers.

VIARTE is also the most outstanding artistic platform for over 90 musical artists, who paired their songs with the valuable works of art, accompanied by the finest gastronomy in some of our restaurants and the best wines of our cellar.

These unique characteristics of VIARTE have made it stand as the booster of visual art in the city and country, an open market for arts, thus improving the life quality of artists with specific goals: Promoting the transversal links between different cultural expressions and visual arts, contributing to the education of the public, articulating and fostering different artists from our city and the country, contributing to the creation of direct and indirect employment for 550 people.
