He was born in 1963 in Havana. He graduated from Medical Sciences and First Degree in Psychiatry. His caricatures have been posted in all major local and international news media. He’s the most recognized Cuban cartoonist with over a hundred awards under his belt. He has published a total of 16 books in Cuba, Brazil, Guatemala, Iran, Italy and Spain, let alone he has contributed illustrations for more than 60 volumes.
In 1994 he was nominated by U.S. magazine Witty World to join the list of the world’s best cartoonists.
